- If you're on Windows, make sure you're running a 64-bit OS with the 64-bit version of Photoshop. OpenCL requires 64-bit
- Make sure Use Graphics Processor is checked under Preferences > Performance

- Make sure that your video card driver is up to date with the latest from the vendor website.
Note: If your video card does not support OpenCL v1.1 or higher, you may need to purchase an upgraded video card that supports OpenCL v1.1 or higher to gain access to the Oil Paint filter.

- Go to the filter section.
- Now open noise filter section
- Now you get a new filter/plugin name as GREYstoration...
- Open the greystoration filter.
After the filter install, we have to change some values to achieve an oil paint look.
- Change strength by 60 to 111
- Change contour by 0.7 to 0.2
- Change anisotropy by 0.3 to 1
- Change noise scale by 0.6 to 0.1
- Change geometry regularity by 1.1 to 3
- No change in initial Gaussian and rest columns.
- If you have GPU then check GPU or if not then leave it blank.
